Gulf Oil Lubricants India has launched its new Syntrac engine oil at India Bike Week 2025 in Panchgani, one of Asia’s largest motorcycle festivals. The launch coincides with Gulf Oil’s third consecutive year as the main sponsor of the event, providing a platform to connect directly with motorcycle enthusiasts, riders, and the biking community.

The Syntrac range is positioned as a 100% fully synthetic premium motorcycle engine oil, sitting above Gulf’s existing Pride lineup. It is engineered for high-performance motorcycles and riders demanding enhanced protection, durability, and performance. The Syntrac family includes 11 SKUs across viscosity grades like 10W‑30, 10W‑40, 10W‑50, 15W‑50, and 20W‑50, making it versatile for various bikes and riding conditions. Its API SP-compliant formulation incorporates advanced ester technology, designed to withstand high temperatures, heavy loads, and high engine RPMs.

Syntrac oil protects key motorcycle components, including the engine block, gearbox, and wet clutch, making it ideal for city sprinting, long highway touring, and high-speed riding. Gulf Oil emphasizes performance, durability, and reliability for both everyday and competitive riding environments.

At India Bike Week 2025, Gulf Oil engaged visitors through multiple experiences: live stunt shows by international enduro rider Pol Torres, a MotoGP Trackhouse Racing Team bike display with Gulf livery, product demonstrations, bike servicing stops, and a Gulf Club Lounge. These activities showcase Gulf’s commitment to motorsports, innovation, and community engagement.

Ravi Chawla, Managing Director & CEO of Gulf Oil Lubricants India, highlighted that Syntrac reinforces the company’s focus on high-performance synthetic lubrication solutions tailored for passionate riders. He also emphasized the importance of India Bike Week as a platform to strengthen direct engagement with the two-wheeler community.

Gulf Oil Lubricants India, part of the Hinduja Group and Gulf Oil International, operates a pan-India distribution network, partners with around 50 OEMs, exports to over 25 countries, and runs manufacturing and R&D facilities in Silvassa and Ennore (Chennai). The Syntrac launch aligns with Gulf’s strategy to expand its premium motorcycle oil portfolio, strengthen its motorsports and high-performance brand image, and engage directly with riders through experiences and events.
