Interarch Building Products Limited has received orders worth ₹221 crore in the semiconductor and lithium-ion battery sectors. These orders focus on infrastructure development for emerging industries in India.
The first project involves constructing a semiconductor manufacturing facility in Assam for Tata Semiconductor Assembly & Testing Pvt. Limited. The facility, located in Jagiroad, Morigaon, is part of India’s plan to enhance its domestic semiconductor production.
The second project is for Agratas Energy Storage Solutions Pvt. Ltd. in Gujarat. Interarch will build India’s largest lithium-ion battery manufacturing unit in Sanand. This facility is expected to address the demand for energy storage as India moves toward renewable energy solutions.
Tata Projects Limited is the EPC contractor for both projects. This marks Interarch’s second order in the lithium-ion battery sector after its previous project with Exide Energy Solutions.
Interarch has been involved in infrastructure development across various sectors since its establishment in 1983. The company’s services include engineering, manufacturing, and on-site project management to meet specific project requirements.
The company’s product offerings include pre-engineered steel buildings, roofing and cladding systems, and non-industrial building solutions. These products are designed for specific industrial and non-industrial applications.
The semiconductor and energy storage sectors are being prioritized in India, and these projects aim to support this focus by providing the necessary infrastructure.
