Tata Steel Nederland has entered into a significant partnership to establish the first-ever liquid hydrogen corridor between Oman and Europe. This collaboration aims to bolster the global hydrogen supply chain and promote the use of green hydrogen as a sustainable energy source.​

The initiative involves the construction of a liquid hydrogen production facility in Oman, which will produce hydrogen using renewable energy sources. This hydrogen will then be transported to Europe, where it will be utilized in various industries, including steel production, to reduce carbon emissions.​
