EPACK Durable (EPACK) incorporated in 2003, initially began as a contract manufacturer of consumer durables, the company transitioned into an Original Design Manufacturer (ODM), producing room air conditioners(RAC), and small domestic appliances (SDA), induction cooktops, juicer-mixer grinders, and water dispensers for various OEMs.

It also manufactures critical components, including heat exchangers, copper tubing, and Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs), which are essential for its product range. The company has emerged as the 2nd largest ODM player in the market, holding an approximate 24% share in H1FY25.{5} The RAC segment contributed 81% and the SDA segment contributed 19% of the total In FY24.{6}

• The company has three vertically integrated manufacturing facilities in Dehradun, Bhiwadi, Rajasthan, and Sri City, Andhra Pradesh commissioned in 2024 coupled with 4 R&D centers with the Dehradun facility to be the largest, consisting of  4 sites alone in Dehradun.

• Company commenced operations with a single manufacturing unit in Dehradun, Uttarakhand in 2003, and has since expanded manufacturing operations with Dehradun Unit II, Dehradun Unit III and Dehradun Unit IV, Bhiwadi Manufacturing Facility and Sri City Manufacturing Facility.

The company has established long-term relationships with its customers, with 80% of its revenue generated from the top 5 customers:

• Company has established strong relationships with a broad range of clients in the Room Air Conditioner (RAC) segment, such as Blue Star, Daikin, Carrier, Voltas, Havells, Haier Appliances (India), Infiniti, Godrej, and Boyce. The company derives 80% of its revenue from room air conditioners.{8}

• In the SDA segment, its customer base includes leading companies like Bajaj Electricals Limited, BSH Household Appliances Manufacturing Private Limited, and Usha International Limited, among others.

Epack group: Integration of business and financial risk profiles:

• Company has combined its business and financial risk profiles with Epack Component Pvt Ltd (ECPL), following ECPL’s transition into a wholly owned subsidiary of Epack in August 2021. Together, they are referred to as the Epack Group. Effective from April 1, 2022, ECPL was fully merged with Epack. Before the merger, ECPL operated as a captive manufacturing unit for air conditioner components and became a 100% subsidiary of Epack in August 2021. {9}
