To finalize the deal, UltraTech has signed a Share Purchase Agreement with Wonder WallCare’s current shareholders. The acquisition is expected to be completed within the next 90 days, subject to regulatory approvals. As part of this transaction, UltraTech will acquire 6.42 crore equity shares of ₹10 each, giving it complete ownership of Wonder WallCare.
One of the biggest advantages of this acquisition is the access to a modern, high-capacity manufacturing plant in Rajsamand-Nathdwara, Rajasthan. The plant, which was constructed recently in 2022-23, has a production capacity of 6 lakh metric tonnes per year. It is located near UltraTech’s existing putty manufacturing units and close to high-quality raw material reserves, ensuring a steady supply of essential resources.
With this acquisition, UltraTech aims to strengthen its presence in India’s competitive putty and value-added products market. The deal not only increases its production capacity but also gives it an advantage by securing a large manufacturing facility with potential for future expansion.
