PNC Infratech Ltd has emerged as the L1 (lowest) bidder for the flyover construction project in Bharatpur, Rajasthan. The company quoted ₹239.94 crore for the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contract. This project, which will connect Heeradas Chouraha and Kumher Gate Chouraha, is expected to enhance connectivity in the region and reduce traffic congestion.
The flyover construction is set to be completed within a span of 24 months, and it will play a crucial role in improving transportation links in Bharatpur. The announcement of the project win led to a 1.59% increase in PNC Infratech’s stock, which rose to ₹283.50 per share.
PNC Infratech is a key player in infrastructure development across India. The company specializes in various projects, including highways, bridges, flyovers, airport runways, and power transmission projects. It is also known for executing large-scale infrastructure contracts for both government and private sectors.
However, despite this project win, the company reported a 56% decline in its net profit to ₹81.39 crore in Q3 FY25 compared to the same quarter of the previous year. The company’s revenue also dropped by 28.2%, reaching ₹1,470.01 crore in Q3 FY25, showing the challenges faced by PNC Infratech in the current financial environment.
Despite these financial setbacks, the flyover project win adds a significant new contract to the company’s portfolio, and it is expected to bolster future earnings and business prospects.
PNC Infratech’s expertise in executing large infrastructure projects across the country continues to make it a prominent name in the sector, despite the temporary financial dip.
