₹13,300 Crore Adani-Mayo Healthcare Plan

Adani Group has taken a big step in healthcare by joining hands with the renowned Mayo Clinic to build world-class medical facilities in India. With an initial investment of ₹6,000 crore, the group plans to establish two large healthcare campuses in Mumbai and Ahmedabad. These will be part of a larger ₹13,300 crore investment in the first phase, with more “Adani Health Cities” planned across the country.

Each campus will have a 1,000-bed multi-super-specialty hospital, a medical college training future doctors, and research centers focused on advanced fields like artificial intelligence and biomedical informatics. The aim is to make high-quality healthcare accessible to all sections of society while also developing India’s medical education and research ecosystem.

Mayo Clinic, a globally respected healthcare institution, will bring its expertise to the partnership. It will help set up strong clinical practices, improve medical standards, and support digital transformation through advanced IT solutions. This collaboration ensures that the hospitals meet international standards and provide the best possible care.

This initiative is part of Gautam Adani’s larger vision to uplift healthcare, education, and skill development in India. He has committed ₹60,000 crore to these causes, with ₹10,000 crore pledged after his younger son Jeet’s wedding. The goal is to build hospitals and create a lasting impact by improving treatment for complex diseases, advancing medical research, and training future healthcare professionals.
