Trump Warns Extra 10% Tax on BRICS-Friendly Countries

Trump was reacting to a new BRICS statement — a 31-page document — where the group spoke out against high tariffs (taxes on imports) and military actions, especially those involving Iran. While they did not name the United States, Trump believed it was aimed at the U.S. and responded strongly.

BRICS is a group of major countries that includes Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa. It has now expanded to include Indonesia, Iran, Egypt, Ethiopia, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
