Anthropic Valuation Surges to $350Bn with $15Bn Backing from Microsoft & Nvidia

Anthropic, an AI startup specializing in large language models, has secured significant investments from Microsoft and Nvidia, propelling its valuation to approximately $350 billion. As per reports, Microsoft will invest up to $5 billion, while Nvidia commits up to $10 billion, making the total infusion $15 billion. This latest deal marks a substantial increase from Anthropic’s $183 billion valuation reported in September 2025, reflecting strong investor confidence in the company’s growth trajectory and AI capabilities.

The investment is not only financial but also strategically significant. Anthropic will purchase $30 billion of Azure cloud compute capacity from Microsoft, alongside up to 1 gigawatt of additional compute sourced from Microsoft and Nvidia systems. This ensures the company has the necessary infrastructure to train and deploy advanced AI models at scale, mitigating potential compute constraints as its AI workloads expand.

The collaboration between Anthropic and Nvidia will focus on model design and engineering, optimizing future Nvidia chips specifically for Anthropic’s AI operations.
